DELPH AND Dobcross under-13 cricket team had one of its best-ever seasons finishing as Area Champions in the Huddersfield Cricket League. 
They won 11 of their 12 league games and the only defeat was to Birkby Rose Hill when they had to field a weakened team.
However, in the return match, which was essentially the championship decider, Delph comfortably won by 65 runs.
