Experience the Virtual Dementia Tour

Now they can take part in The Virtual Dementia Tour to help them experience firsthand the physical and mental challenges facing those with dementia every day.

The Tour was created by PK Beville, MS, founder of the non-profit Second Wind Dreams, and is a scientifically proven method of building a greater understanding of dementia.

It gives participants an opportunity to understand what they need to change to keep loved ones at home longer, improve practice and quality of care.

Scary, isolating, confusing and emotional, this fantastic experience must not be missed and will truly change the lives of people with this disease.

The Tour is perfect for anyone that comes into direct or indirect contact with people with dementia and has been adopted by organisations around the UK.

Locals can book onto the Tour this September, which has been brought to Saddleworth with the help of Oldham Council and Oldham Community Leisure and local Dementia Friends Champion Joyce Brown.
