April’s Fools to take the stage at Off the Rails Comedy Club for local charities

THERE WILL be fools galore to entertain this April at the Off the Rails Comedy Club in Greenfield to help raise money for local charities.

COMEDIAN: Gavin Webster

At Easter Sunday’s Show on April 5 at the Royal George on Manchester Road, the 2014 UK Circuit Comedian of the Year Gavin Webster joins former circus acrobat Martin Mor.

It will be an evening of genial lunacy in aid of Pennine Mencap, a charity which provides activities and services for people with learning disabilities.

Then Saturday, April 18 is the date for your diary as the Saddleworth WI hold their second comedy night with the Club in aid of Funky Fitness and Fun.

The group, which works with adults with additional needs, is trying to raise money to replace their defunct mini bus.

On the bill for the event are Suzy Bennett and XFM Manchester and Channel 4 regular Rob Rouse with others to be confirmed.

Then what better way to round off the month than with the undisputed king of one liners Gary Delaney, who brings his extended national tour ‘Purist’ to Off The Rails on Sunday, April 26.

There are no high-brow concepts or themes, just ninety minutes of sharp, well crafted gags from the Mock The Week regular.

Off the Rails Comedy Club shows are currently held in the upstairs function room at the Royal George, Manchester Road, Greenfield OL3 7HX.

Tickets for all shows are available online at www.saddleworthcomedy.co.uk and for further info please call: 07874 152338.
