Christmas cracker to close the year for Off The Rails Comedy Club

FESTIVE CHEER will raise the roof as Off The Rails Comedy Club returns to Greenfield with a Christmas cracker.

On Sunday, December 27 the club’s last show of the year will be held at recently refurbished The Royal George on Manchester Road.

Compere Mick Ferry returns after a year that’s included trips to Dubai and Norway as well as entertaining crowds at Banksy’s ‘Dismal land’ spoof theme park installation.

COMEDIAN: Martin Mor

All a far cry from this Derker lad’s original career as an upholsterer refurbishing pubs.

Also taking the stage, fresh from a tour of the Far East, is former circus acrobat Martin Mor, who has been Frankie Boyle’s main tour support and once opened for Tina Turner.

And he has also performed at a host of diverse events from entertaining inmates of an Italian prison at the Hammersmith Apollo to performing before members of the British Royal Family.

Completing the comedy line-up is African-born Daliso Chaponda, who first started cracking jokes in Canada, then moved to South Africa but has been a resident in the UK for over ten years.

Daliso originally wanted to become a vicar but his love of earthly pleasures made comedy a much more sensible choice.

In the space of a few days he once performed in a Birmingham strip club followed by a Christian festival which is testament to his broad appeal.

Tickets for the show cost £8/£5 NUSandfulldetailsareat www.saddleworthcomedy.co.uk or by calling 07874 152 338.
