Colour the Clouds return to Oldham with uplifting musical children’s story

Bk9OiyTbColour The Clouds make a welcome return to Oldham with their brand new show for children on Saturday, October 10.

The Greater Manchester-based children’s theatre company is proud to join Oldham Library’s Live at the Library programme.

The heart-warming tale follows Maggie, a young girl, whose world is coloured by a beautiful playground of music.

Maggie’s best friend is her Granddad and together they have amazing adventures and take fantastic journeys, all set to her music.

Exploring grief through the eyes of a child, Maggie and the Song of the Sea tells of how a little girl rediscovers what she thought was lost and learns to find her music again.

This inspired production is supported by Winston’s Wish, a charity for bereaved children, and Arts Council England.

Colour The Clouds was formed in 2012 by University of Salford graduates Sarah Birch and Catherine Manford.

The company have built a solid reputation for high-quality family theatre productions, including the award-winning Billy, The Monster and ME! that played to sell-out audiences at Oldham Library in October, 2014.

You can watch Maggie and the Song of the Sea at either 11am or 2pm for free on Saturday, October 10. The show is aimed at families with children aged 7+.

Tickets are £5 (£4 for library members) and are available online or by visiting Oldham Coliseum’s Box Office. Alternatively you can call the Box Office on 0161 624 2829.
