GLAMOROUS ladies gathered at the White Hart, Lydgate for a truly FAB day to celebrate 20 years of the Face and Body Shop.
Launched in 1997 in Grotton by Valerie Simpson the award-winning salon has flourished over the years and now has more than 18,000 clients, 24 staff and eight treatment rooms.
Further expansion saw the shop rebranded to FAB Salon two years ago, along with the launch of the FAB Clinic which delivers a range of non-surgical cosmetic treatments.
To celebrate their milestone birthday, more than 200 guests enjoyed a ‘Ladies Afternoon Tea’ at the White Hart, with proceeds donated to Dr Kershaws and Mahdlo Youth Zone.
The special event included a meal, raffle with beauty prizes, party games such as pass the parcel and heads and tails, and entertainment from DJ Andy Lee.
Valerie said: “It all started out at my home but I just grew too big so I opened the salon.
“The past 20 years have been hard work but every day we see that pay off as everybody enjoys what they do.
“A highlight has been winning many prestigious awards. We were named Guinot Best Salon in the UK and Ireland for a decade, and also have many individual therapists and receptionists who have won awards.
“We strive to make sure every client feels special on every visit, because they are.”
