GLORIOUS SUNSHINE shone down on laughing children and chatting adults as they enjoyed the first ever Grotton Gala Day.
Locals gathered at the Grotton Pavilion for the extravaganza, where fun activities included a bouncy castle, stalls and children’s games such as ‘hook a duck’.
And steam came back to the village as Rochdale Model Engines brought along a host of equipment to set up a mini ride.
