Scottish musician to light up Civic Hall

SCOTTISH MUSIC star Justin Currie will raise the roof at the Uppermill Civic Hall on Friday, November 14.

His music is dominated by strong imagery and storytelling, powerful yet understated vocals and a sound that, while firmly rooted in nineties pop-rock, translates beautifully into modern, urban ballads.

With influences from Nick Cave, Crowded House and Mark Lanegan, his music is hauntingly dark, yet refreshingly uplifting.

Justin Currie will perform at the Uppermill Civic Hall on Friday, November 14. Doors open 7pm for a 7.45pm concert

Tickets cost £20 and must be purchased in advance from Uppermill Post Office, Greenfield Post Office or by calling the 24-hour box office: 0844 478 0898.
