CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS and New Year in style at a recently refurbished pub to make your festive season a memorable one.

And a New Year’s Eve Party Night will get 2014 off to a great start with live entertainment and an executive hot and cold buffet.

With food provided fresh from local suppliers and prepared from scratch by experienced chefs, the restaurant prides itself on serving an extensive choice of classic dishes and quality meals at pub prices.

And their seasonal lunch is no different, offering a choice of leek and potato soup, chicken liver pâté or fresh fruit for starters, followed by roast turkey, salmon, beef or vegetable risotto.

Guests can enjoy Christmas Pudding, ice cream or treacle and lemon tart before rounding off their meal with coffee and mince pies for just £17.50 per person, or £11.50 for under 10s.

Meanwhile a seasonal dinner provides extra options of beer battered button mushrooms or crab and crayfish salad for starters, and seabass, chicken or ribeye steak for mains.

A selection of cheese and biscuits is also available for dessert followed by coffee and mince pies, all for £21.50 per person, or £11.50 for under 10s.P17 Heroes of Waterloo (3)

Christmas Day diners can enjoy the special festive menu, which features French onion soup, baby pineapple, smoked fish or pork and black pudding pie for the first course.

This is followed by a main of roast turkey, halibut, beef wellington or chargrilled aubergine and then a dessert of Christmas pudding, shortbread, trifle or cheese and biscuits.

This festive spread is completed with coffee and mince pies for just £49.50 per person, or £27.50 for under 10s.

Or if you want to tuck into a hearty meal on Boxing Day, the Heroes of Waterloo is offering two courses for £16.95 per person (under 10s £9.50) or three for £20.95 (under 10s £11.50).

Guests can start their meal with tomato and basil soup, melon and pineapple, haddock and chive fishcakes or goat’s cheese and basil tartlet.

Then a main course choice is available between slow roasted belly pork, salmon, steak and red wine pie, chicken tikka massala, haddock, ribeye steak or spinach and ricotta tortelloni.

Guests are also invited to see in 2014 with family and friends at the Heroes of Waterloo’s special New Year’s Eve Party Night for just £29.50 per person.

Starting at 7pm with appetisers and drinks, the evening will include entertainment from Gil Damon followed by a buffet at 8.45pm then more entertainment until the early hours.

Hot and cold selections on the executive buffet include roast beef, turkey and gammon, salmon, buttered mushrooms, pork pies, chicken or beef wraps and salads.
