PEOPLE FACING sensitive questions surrounding dying will have a chance to discuss their concerns at a special ‘GraveTalk’ event next month.
Launched by the Church of England, the cafe space event will be held at Grotton Pavilion on Saturday, May 7 starting at 10.30am.
It will offer invaluable opportunities to start conversations about death, dying or funerals which can be hard to discuss with family or friends.
The conversation will be helped along by GraveTalk conversation cards with 52 questions covering five key areas.
GraveTalk cards will be on the tables, and each group picks a question and uses it start a conversation.
It doesn’t matter if you only use one question or work through all of them. The purpose is to talk and listen.
Light refreshments are offered throughout the event, which lasts about an hour, or longer if needed.
