Mayor of Greater Manchester is Mahdlo Business Breakfast guest speaker

A BUSINESS Breakfast Q&A event with the Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham at Mahdlo Youth Zone has been postponed.

The event, which was due to take place on March 2, will be rescheduled to a date in the near future, to be confirmed.

MAYOR of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham will answer questions on all things Oldham and Greater Manchester at Mahdlo Youth Zone’s Business Breakfast on Wednesday, March 2.

Mr Burnham will be quizzed by host Terry Flanagan MBE, an Oldham Rugby legend and former Mahdlo Chairman.

Attendees are invited to submit questions prior to the event at time of booking. Advance booking is essential, with tickets costing £5 (free for Mahdlo Patrons) which includes breakfast and refreshments.

Lucy Lees, CEO at Mahdlo, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming Andy Burnham back to Mahdlo and are really grateful for him taking the time e to answer questions from the Oldham business community.

“It’s also a wonderful opportunity to thank Oldham’s businesses for their ongoing support for the charity as we begin our tenth birthday celebrations”.

Mr Burnham said: “I am looking forward to being the next Business Breakfast speaker at Mahdlo.

“It’s really important that voices from people living and working across Greater Manchester are heard, and Mahdlo holding these impactful events gives people just such a platform to hear about the work we are doing, and question me about the Mayoralty and the future of our city-region.”
