SADDLEWORTH’S Off The Rails Comedy Club is continuing its long tradition of discovering the very best in new comedic talent as it welcomes Peter Brush to the stage.
Jack Whitehall and Sarah Millican are just two of the household names who have cut their teeth with brief, ten minute spots at the Royal George in Greenfield.
Now it the chance of another as Peter Brush headlines on Sunday, February 26.
If ballsy bravado is your thing then Brush certainly isn’t your man. Peter unassumingly takes the stage before conquering it with razor sharp quirky one-liners and peerlessly original routines, all delivered in an amusingly awkward fashion.
Peter has also written for BBC Radio 4’s ‘The News Quiz’, ‘The Show What You Wrote’ and ‘Newsjack’, and has provided tour support for Arthur Smith, Stephen K Amos and Justin Moorhouse.
The closing act for the evening will be Brighton’s Stephen Grant while Edinburgh Fringe Panel Prize Winner Phil Ellis comperes and the guest act is Matt Hoss.
The show starts 8pm and tickets are £8.50 each from the Royal George, Manchester Road, Greenfield or the website.
