SADDLEWORTH PARISH Council’s Planning Committee recommended approval for a series of planning applications at their August meeting. They included:

Wiggett Construction Ltd, Land at Gibbs Close, Greenfield: Demolition of an existing poor quality mill building and erection of a large 4 bedroom detached dwelling.

Mr Williams, Bagnall Close, Uppermill: Playroom extension at ground floor level and bedroom extension at first floor level incorporating front dormer.
Mr Eglin, Wall Hill Road, Dobcross: Alterations and extensions to existing dwelling.
Mr K Uysal, Fernhill, Grasscroft: Single storey rear extension and rear timber decking.
Mr McMahon, Walkers Court, Springhead: Single storey side extension one property and second floor extension to two properties; Subject to adjacent properties not being overlooked.
Mr Williams, The Nook, Greenfield: Single storey front extension, first floor side extension and single storey rear extension.
