Police appeal following petrol station robbery

OFFICERS have issued a CCTV image after two men entered the Sainsbury’s petrol station off Emmott Way at around 10.50pm on Friday 26 April 2019.

The offenders threatened staff with a knife and a handgun and demanded money from the tills before fleeing towards Rhodes Bank with a quantity of cash.

No one was injured during the robbery, but staff were left understandably shaken.

Anyone who recognises the individuals in the picture, or has any information, should call police on 0161 856 8999 quoting incident number 2379 of 26/04/19.
