POPULAR: Java Bar Espresso

Java Bar Espresso first threw open its doors four years ago and since then has been welcoming in couples, families and friends to relax in their cosy two-storey café.

Whether customers are popping in for a drink, enjoying a light breakfast or lunch or treating themselves to an evening out, there is something for everyone at the friendly venue.

And that was the aim from the start for owners Nigel and Keith as the popular bar celebrates its birthday this month.

Nigel said: “We wanted to offer an alternative style café wine bar in the area and a place for families to come in,” he said.

“Java has grown a culture which appeals to everyone, from young families, teenagers and their parents, couples or friends out for the evening. It’s fantastic – it’s what we set out to do.

“Most of our staff have been with us since we opened the doors and give the place a really great, welcoming atmosphere. They have helped make it what it is.”

To mark their anniversary, Java are inviting customers old and new to enjoy up to a 10 per cent discount during their celebratory birthday week from November 16-19.

Simply cut out the coupon on the right to redeem the offer on any purchase in Java, whether you’re tucking into coffee or a glass of wine, biscuits, cakes, sandwiches or waffles.

Nigel added: “The last four years have been truly wonderful and we can really only thank our patrons for making Java what it is today.”

The coffee bar has also expanded to a range of locations including Victoria Station and Oxford Road in Manchester City Centre as well as their latest opening in Rochdale’s newly-built bus station.

These stores are hot spots for events of all kinds, from wine tasting evenings through to business or charity events.

And with Christmas just around the corner, Java has launched a range of festive drinks including mulled wine, gingerbread latte and La Mumba and guests can grab a blanket under the heated canopy and enjoy a dash of brandy in their coffee.

There are mouth-watering treats available too as the winter afternoon tea has returned alongside the turkey bocata and warm mince pies.

Java is also inviting everyone to see in the New Year in style at their exclusive ticketed event, with a glass of Prosecco on arrival, table service throughout the evening and entertainment from a piper at midnight.

You will also find Java at the Christmas Markets in Manchester from November 21 to December 14, located between Harvey Nichols and Selfridges.
