BEAUTIFUL models strutted their stuff at a special fashion show in Uppermill to help raise £800 for local charities and causes.
The show was put on by Saddleworth Boutique, based at St Anne’s Gallery on the village high street, to raise money for Saddleworth Parish Council’s chairman’s chosen charities.
120 ladies filled the Civic Hall for the event and watched ten glamorous models of all ages and sizes showcase the Autumn/Winter collection from the popular store.
From jumpers and coats and even woolly hats to dresses and evening wear, there was a wide range on show for ladies to see, try and buy, along with accessories.
Beverley Heap, who runs Saddleworth Boutique, said: “The event went really well, and it was so well organised by Parish Council chairman, Cllr Nicola Kirkham.
“A big thank you to everyone who helped make it such a fabulous event and help us raise £800 for the chairman’s charities.”
Saddleworth Boutique offers a colourful and trendy range of clothes for sizes 6 to 26 and for young girls to older ladies.
They also help customers find their perfect clothes match with personal dressing sessions from Beverley, who launched the company at her home in Greenfield.
She said: “Our aim is for you to look the best you can do and we really want to help you do that.
“Our personal dressing sessions are unique. We will look at key colours and pieces you like, and then co-ordinate with handbags and other accessories too.
“No one else offers a service quite like this. I like to think outside the box and people seem to love it.”
