Saddleworth businesses in running for prestigious One Oldham awards

TOP SADDLEWORTH businesses and entrepreneurs have been named among the finalists for the eighth annual prestigious Oldham Business Awards.

Ap18 one business-awards-logowards will be presented by actor and comedian John Thomson, best known for his roles in ‘The Fast Show’ and ‘Cold Feet’, at a gala dinner at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on Friday, May 13.

He will introduce each of the 11 categories which recognise and reward businesses and individuals across Oldham for their continuing excellence in the area.

Awards Steering Group chair Steve Kilroy said: “We have worked to increase the prominence of the awards and this year we were able to engage with this major celebrity.

“All of us on the steering group were hugely excited by this development and really looking forward to taking the awards to the next level next year.”
