THE POPULAR Saddleworth Independent newspaper has moved into its first offices on Uppermill High Street as the publication goes from strength to strength.
Launched in 2010 by Ken Bennett, the community newspaper is now owned and run by Editor Aimee Belmore.
And with an expanding team of reporters and sales representatives, they have set up office in Uppermill to establish a visible, long-term base.
Aimee said: “We are delighted to move into our first offices and join the other businesses on the village high street.
“We welcome everyone to visit us to share your news and views and help us to continue to flourish.”
The Saddleworth Independent launched sister paper the Mossley Correspondent in April this year and both newspapers will operate from the office.
