MORE THAN 150 guests raised £3,000 as they danced the night away at the Saddleworth Ladies Fundraising Committee’s annual black tie Dinner Dance.
The event, held at the White Hart in Lydgate, included a five-course meal, live band and raffle, and completed their year of fundraising.
THE SLFC is made up of nine volunteers who organise events to raise money for charities and last year they raised £10,000 for Mahdlo Youth Zone and Children Shaw Society.
Their events included a girls’ night out at Dinnerstone, a family car rally and barbeque, a comedy night with Off the Rails and a climb up Mount Snowdon.
This year they will be supporting Oldham Mountain Rescue as it is their 50th anniversary. For more information about upcoming events find Saddleworth Ladies Fundraising Committee on Facebook.
