The festival, organised by the Saddleworth Creative Network, will see local crafters, creatives and small businesses fill the Civic Hall in Uppermill to share their wares.

Mouth-watering local handmade food favourites will also be on sale, including jams and chutneys, pies, chocolates and cakes.

And there will be plenty of things to keep the children amused, ranging from face-painting, lucky dip and free balloons to stalls with activities and demonstrations,

The Saddleworth Creative Network, which was set up in 2011 and is now run by Claire Hilton, regularly holds two-day events at the Civic Hall.

Claire said: “It is lovely to see such a wealth of local creative talent put on display in such a fun way. There is always something for all the family to enjoy.
